Recent successful projects that Destin have managed include:

The Smarter Systems project for eLGAR (Libraries for a Greater Auckland Region). This involved implementing a single Library Management System and a common set of processes and business rules across the libraries of five councils in the Auckland region. This project won two the Excellence in the Use of IT in Government and Most Successful Project Implementation of the Year awards at the 2006 Computerworld Excellence. It also received a TUANZ Innovation Award in the Local & Central Government category and the 3M Innovation in Libraries Award 2006. (learn more…) |

The University of Auckland’s HR Programme. This programme was a major undertaking to upgrade PeopleSoft HR and Payroll modules. It included an extensive review and reengineering of both organisation and system processes to vastly improve HR service delivery. Waitakere City Council’s Pathway Local Government System implementation. This project was a multi- million project and the largest IT project undertaken by Waitakere City Council. A team of 11 Destin Consulting staff filled key positions in the project structure. The project was delivered $600,000 under budget. (learn more…) |

River Power’s SAP upgrade. This project required an upgrade of SAP software. Key deliverables in this project were the implementation of both CRM and Solution Manager, and an upgrade of technical infrastructure required to support SAP. (learn more…) |

Auckland City’s implementation of the Pathway software package for local government. This multi- million project was the largest IT initiative that Auckland City had ever undertaken and had a user base of approximately 700 people. The Napier City Council Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Review This engagement was significant for Napier City Council, enabling them to make more strategic and efficient use of their ICT service The ICT Review resulted in a further engagement in 2010 where a Destin Consultant played a key role in developing a Digital Strategy for Napier City Council focused on the three themes of Connected Council, Transformed Business and Resilient IT. |

Western Bay of Plenty District Council On Demand Scanning & Electronic Process Research Project. This project involved a review of existing business processes together with a pilot and allowed the Council to gain a clear understanding of a methodology and approach to digitising their records. Colonial First State Property’s (CFSP) implementation of SAP for fund management including real estate management across Australia and New Zealand. CSFP are owned by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and are the owners of the Sylvia Park shopping centre development in Auckland and many other property investments. Transfield Services New Zealand. This project involved a Destin project manager leading the merging of four dispatch centres into one. This project included managing accommodation logistics, implementing a new phone system, the installation of GPS into over four hundred vehicles and the implementation of the associated vehicle tracking and management software. |
